Kendal Calling returns to the hallowed grounds of the stunning Lowther Deer Park in less than one week, set to transform the fields into one of the biggest parties of the Summer and rising up as Cumbria’s biggest town. Today, for the 19th consecutive year, Kendal Calling is officially SOLD OUT.

Every year, Kendal Calling and its community of festival goers gather in the fields, creating magic and soaking up the palpable sense of joy within every corner, nook and cranny of the site. The wonderful world of Kendal Calling is a festival escape like no other, with a breathtaking landscape and much to be discovered. World-class artists this year include not four, but five mega headliners: Paolo Nutini, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, The Streets, Paul Heaton with Rianne Downey, and Keane. The line-up doesn’t stop there with unmissable moments expected from Sugababes, Declan McKenna and the mighty The Reytons, as well as laugh out loud comedy goodness from Russell Howard, Paul Smith and more. Of course, that’s not forgetting the DJ set of the summer, as no other than Gary Neville prepares to swap out his ball skills for his deck skills, as he goes B2B with Tim Burgess.

Speaking of Tim, the much-loved Tim Peaks Diner will return once again. Operating in a sphere of its own with its ‘anything goes’ kind of vibe, festival goers are invited to explore the coffee shop turned music emporium! With legendary secret sets over the years from The Libertines, Blossoms, The Coral, The Cribs, Edwyn Collins and most recently The Lathums, you never quite know who will step through the doors of the wooden cabin. This year, Tim and co. have put together their biggest line up yet with A Certain Ratio, Dave Haslam and Nik Void. Not to mention the man himself who will play a very special set with Helen O’Hara from Dexy’s Midnight Runners and the Royal Northern College of Music’s Session Orchestra.

Festival goers are encouraged to explore all that the Kendal Calling site has to offer, leaving no stone unturned. With so much to be discovered, from your favourite new band at Calling Out, Dick and Dom on the decks at Parklands, and of course, the jewel in Kendal Calling’s crown – the sheer magic and discovery of the arts and culture hub, the woodlands of Lost Eden. Plus, there’s plenty for families to enjoy including the specially curated Kids Calling as well as a plethora of art and light installations, a new pub – aptly named The Stagger Inn, and even a ‘High Seas’ themed parade featuring hundreds of performers adorned in their finest swashbuckling garms. Last year, Absolute Radio described Kendal Calling as “triumphant” with The Manc echoing that it was “really, REALLY good”, Kendal Calling is quite simply, not to be missed.

Andy Smith, Founder of Kendal Calling said“Although we’ve sold out each year since 2006, we never rest on our laurels and it’s always a wonderfully fulfilling moment when that final ticket is snapped up. We are lucky to have a fantastically loyal community of Kendal Calling festival goers – many who return each year, others who are yet to discover the magic that’s set to unfold. So thank you one and all, we are very excited to welcome you through the gates of our home at Lowther Deer Park in less than one week.”

And although the festival is sold out, fans who may have missed out are encouraged to keep an eye on Kendal Calling’s official resale partner Tixel. Set in Lowther Deer Park in the beautiful Lake District, Kendal Calling will take place from 1-4 August 2024.
